Psychologist /Life & Health Coach
About me
Natacha hernández
Hi, my name is Natacha and I’m a psychologist with over 30 years of experience, specializing in sports and education. Throughout my career, I have worked with several national teams and athletes from various disciplines in the Venezuelan National Sport Institute. I also taught psychology and coordinated the development of thinking skills in a prestigious private school in Caracas.
I had the opportunity to live in different countries and in my quest to further my knowledge and expertise, I obtained my master’s degree in Sport and Physical Activity Psychology in Madrid, Spain. Eventually, I settled down in Houston, Texas, where I became a certified Health Coach and Life Coach.
Prior to my career as a psychologist and coach, I enjoyed a long and successful career as an athlete. I am proud to have been a 10-time Judo National Champion, 3-time Pan-American Judo Champion, 2-time South American Champion, and 4-time Centro American Champion. Most importantly, I was the 1984 World Judo Champion in the -61kg division. I was inducted into the Venezuelan Sports Hall of Fame and the Pan-American Judo Union Hall of Fame.
Today, as a U.S International Judo Coach, I have had the opportunity to help some athletes from the U.S Women’s National Team. My unique blend of experiences as an athlete, psychologist, and coach allows me to offer a holistic approach to help individuals and teams achieve their goals and reach their full potential. I am passionate about helping others and would love to connect with you to see how I can be of service.
